Where to find external reviews

If you are considering North Cestrian for a child with SEND, these links can help you find different kinds of external feedback and official information.

Ofsted Parent View

Official parent and carer survey results for the school. These are grouped survey responses, not individual reviews, and do not assess provision for your child’s particular needs.

SchoolParrot

An external platform with parent and student reviews. Read the full post and the platform’s own context; reviewer identity and claims are not independently verified by this guide.

How to search and weigh reviews
  1. Try the exact name “North Cestrian School”, then variations such as “North Cestrian SEND”, “North Cestrian SEN support” or the specific support your child may need.
  2. Add a platform name or a year to find newer and older discussions.
  3. Check when a post was written, whether the author describes first-hand experience, and whether there is a reply or later update. One post or a star rating cannot establish what happened or what is typical.
  4. Look for current information too. Ask the school for its current SEN and Disability Policy and Information Report, and speak with the SENDCo about your child’s needs and the provision being considered.

Do not post your child’s name, diagnosis, EHCP, school correspondence or other identifying details in a public review or forum.
